Day 8: Engage in Online Forums and Real Estate Groups – Expand Your Digital Presence and Generate Leads

Welcome to Day 8 of the 12x12 Agent Fast Start Challenge! You’re entering the digital expansion phase. Today, your focus is on optimizing your Facebook ads for the upcoming workshop, building relationships through online forums, and following up with new leads.

This day is about visibility, engagement, and positioning yourself as an expert in your market.

Today's Objectives

  • Ensure your workshop Facebook ads are running effectively

  • Participate in online forums and real estate communities

  • Follow up with online leads

1. Ensure Workshop Ads are Running Smoothly

Steps:

  • Log into your Funneltopia Ads Manager

  • Analyze CTR, CPC, and conversion rates

  • Tweak ad targeting and budget based on location and engagement

  • Refresh ad copy, images, and CTA if underperforming

  • Confirm lead flow into your Funneltopia CRM

  • Follow up with newly acquired leads

Time Commitment: 1–2 hours

Why It Matters:
Well-optimized ads drive real, targeted leads into your pipeline. Daily review ensures your dollars are working as hard as you are.

2. Engage in Online Forums and Real Estate Groups

Steps:

  • Join relevant Facebook, LinkedIn, and Reddit groups

  • Post a short intro in each group, offering help—not a pitch

  • Engage in discussions by answering questions and offering tips

  • Share valuable, non-promotional content

  • Mention your workshop naturally in appropriate contexts

Sample Post:
“Hi, I’m [Your Name], a local real estate agent passionate about helping buyers and sellers navigate the market. Excited to be here—happy to answer any questions!”

Time Commitment: 2–3 hours

Why It Matters:
Showing up consistently and authentically in online communities builds trust and creates inbound lead opportunities.

3. Follow Up with Online Leads

Steps:

  • Review new leads in your CRM and tag them appropriately

  • Send personalized thank-you or welcome messages

  • Offer additional info or book a discovery call

  • Log all details and next steps into your CRM for tracking

Sample Message:
“Hi [Name], it was great connecting in [Group]! I’d be happy to chat more about your real estate goals. Would you like to hop on a quick call?”

Time Commitment: 1–2 hours

Why It Matters:
Timely follow-up increases engagement and establishes you as the go-to agent when they’re ready to move forward.
