Prep Day 2: Church and Community Outreach – Build Real Estate Relationships with Purpose

Welcome to Prep Day 2 of the 12x12 Agent Fast Start Challenge! Today’s focus is all about building local trust and strengthening your presence through church and community center partnerships. This outreach creates visibility, builds meaningful connections, and opens doors to warm introductions and event promotion.

Today's Objectives

  • Identify and contact local churches or community centers

  • Introduce yourself and your event sponsorship opportunities

  • Finalize partnerships and confirm promotion at upcoming services or meetings

  • Prepare for Sunday announcements and attendee engagement

1. Identify Churches or Community Centers

Steps:

  • Search online directories or social media for well-attended, community-active churches or centers

  • Make a list of 3–5 candidates including their event types and leader contacts

Time Commitment: 1–2 hours

Why It Matters:
These organizations have loyal, engaged audiences. A well-placed partnership can amplify your open house or workshop promotion exponentially.

2. Reach Out to the Pastor or Community Leader

Steps:

  • Send a warm email or make a polite phone call introducing yourself

  • Emphasize your desire to contribute value and give back through education and sponsorship

  • Request a short meeting to explore partnership options

Sample Line:
“I’d love to support your members with a free home-selling workshop and would be honored to sponsor one of your upcoming events.”

Time Commitment: 1–2 hours

Why It Matters:
Respectful, value-first outreach builds trust—and a personal introduction makes your offer more memorable and welcome.

3. Discuss Sponsorship and Promotion Opportunities

Steps:

  • Offer a $100–$200 sponsorship in exchange for a shout-out, banner space, or newsletter feature

  • Explain your open house and workshop details and how they serve their audience

  • Confirm expectations on both sides

Time Commitment: 1–2 hours

Why It Matters:
Clarity upfront builds lasting partnerships. Sponsoring a respected institution boosts your credibility and reach simultaneously.

4. Prepare for Sunday Promotion

Steps:

  • Confirm with leadership what will be shared (flyers, announcements, verbal mention)

  • Provide materials and talking points in advance

  • If attending in person, dress well, be approachable, and bring additional handouts

  • Arrive early to engage with the congregation or attendees

Time Commitment: 1–2 hours

Why It Matters:
Sunday shout-outs can be powerful. Your professional presence reinforces the community-minded image you’re building.

Daily Task Summary

  • Research and Identify Partners: 1–2 hours

  • Make Outreach: 1–2 hours

  • Discuss Sponsorship & Confirm Terms: 1–2 hours

  • Prep for Sunday Promotion: 1–2 hours

  • Total Time Commitment: 4–8 hours

Morning & Evening Tasks

Morning:

  • Call new leads from Facebook ads

  • Respond to overnight DM inquiries

  • Time: 1–2 hours

Evening:

  • Call same-day leads
